BCI Cotton
The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is the largest cotton sustainability programme in the world. BCI exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future.
The Better Cotton Standard System is a holistic approach to sustainable cotton production which covers all three pillars of sustainability: environmental, social and economic.
The Better Cotton we use is a mix of different cotton fibres sourced via the Mass Balance system, which means while a single yarn can’t be traced from farm to finished piece, the fabric is still classified as sourced more sustainably. This system allows more farmers and businesses to access sustainable methods and fabrics.
